ITW Red Head CWS-3830, 3/8" x 3" Trubolt Seismic Wedge Anchor Trubolt+ Õ Â Wedge anchors consist of a high-strength threaded stud body, expansion clip, nut and washer. Anchor bodies are made of plated carbon steel. The expansion clip consists of a split cylindrical ring with undercutting grooves. The exposed end of the anchor is stamped to identify anchor length. Stampings should be preserved during installation for any subsequent embedment verification. Use carbide tipped hammer drill bits made in accordance with ANSI B212.15-1994 to install anchors. Anchors are listed by the following agencies as required by the local building code: ICC-ES and City of Los Angeles.?

Red Head Carbon Steel Seismic Wedge 5/8 X 6 Inch Anchor is used for cracked and uncracked concrete surfaces. These anchors are Category 1 performance rated and are 2003 IBC and 2006 IBC compliant. The Red Head anchors meet ACI ductility requirements, and are listed for use in seismic zones A, B, C, D, E, & F. They are tested in accordance with ACI 355.2 and ICC-ES AC193. Use Red Head anchors to install heavy duty pipe in the tension zone of concrete or equipment that is subject to seismic forces. They are designed to resist seismic and static lateral forces in all seismic zones for both cracked and uncracked concrete conditions, and are specially engineered to resist high seismic forces on structural and non-structural equipment. Specs: Threaded Length (inch) -- 4-3/16; Anchor Diameter and Drill Bit Size (per inch) -- 5/8 - 11; Overall Length (inch) -- 6; Max. Thickness of Material to be Fastened (inch) -- 2-1/8.
